Oral presentations

Only PowerPoint presentation (ppt) files are accepted with slide aspect ratio of 16:9.

Please be aware, that the default slide size in PowerPoint 2013 and PowerPoint 2016 is widescreen (a 16:9 aspect ratio). However, you can resize your slides to 4:3.

Please bring your USB memory stick with your presentation on it, and upload your presentation to the computer in the Slide Check Desk preferably either in the morning if your talk is in the afternoon or the day before in case of a morning presentation, but at least during the break before your session. You are kindly asked to control the moving of your slides back and forth.

  • All lecture rooms are equipped with a microphone, a projector, a screen, a remote control and a laptop with PowerPoint.
  • Only single projection will be available in the lecture rooms.
  • There will be a technician in each lecture room for assistance if needed.
  • If you wish to show web pages, instead of live links to the Internet, please, use screen shots within your PowerPoint presentation.
  • Invited speakers have been allocated 25 minutes for their presentations including discussion.
  • Oral presentation speakers have been allocated 15 minutes for their presentations including discussion.

The schedule is tight, therefore time discipline is compulsory.

The Slide Check Room with laptop and technical assistance is provided in front of the main lecture room, Helia Conference Room.

Poster presentations

Your poster should be printed in size A0 (841 mm x 1189 mm) and be in portrait orientation. Pins will be provided for hanging your poster on the board.

  • You must be next to your poster during the Poster Sessions in order to answer any questions.
  • Posters will be viewed during the Poster Sessions indicated in the Conference Programme.
  • Posters will be displayed in all the lecture rooms in the designated areas.
  • Poster boards will be organized by Topics and Last name.
  • Please take your poster tube with you and do not leave it next to your poster board since we cannot guarantee security and it also presents a potential health and safety issue.

Posters will be displayed in the Mindfulness Hall within the exhibition area from Thursday, June 28 to Saturday, June 30. Each poster will be presented for an entire day.

All the presenters are kindly asked to hang their posters in the morning from 8:00 in the designated area and remove it at the end of the scheduled day.

Pre-conference invited workshop:
Length: 3 (2* 1.5) or 6 (4*1.5) hours (half or full day)

Keynote lectures/plenaries:
Length: 40 minutes
